Some of us need repetition to fully incorporate new ideas into our mental structures. Until that is done we can't really use the information effectively. Agreed; also, negativity and distopian sentiment are so pervasive in mainstream discourse, that it's important to have pieces like this to act as a counterpoint. Most people I know seem to expect AI to make their lives *worse*, if they acknowledge it at at all as something more than a fad. I try to keep a level head about things, but the human herd mentality is strong.
Btw, Job Simulator is far less distopian than it sounds - the game takes place in a post-scarcity world, where extremely simplified renditions of early-21st century jobs are presented by AIs for curious humans. Quite a hopeful game, if you think about it!

The paradox is Sam for me is replaceable by AI at a cheaper price.
